I used to hand-write a little explanation for every item in my gift baskets... It took me a whole decade to realize I could simply create a digital version (uhh, duhh) and include that instead. It turned into Naïve.
So soothing. Such a game-changer. Over the years I've given dozens of first-time-mama gift baskets, and these are always, without question included... 100% of the time. And forevermore.
Almost as good as the hospital ice-diapers. They're the perfect shape and size and last roughly 30 minutes. These come in a pack of two so you always have a backup recharging.
Any overnight maxi pad will do, my body just happens to be sensitive, so I stick with cotton vs. synthetic materials when I can.
The balm dot com. Kinda self-explanatory.
One of those things I wish I'd known about sooner.
These are good'ns. Remember to air out your nipples between feedings. Bacteria loves moisture, so try to switch these out when they get soppy.
Ditto to everything above... then just toss 'em in the laundry.
The right nursing bra (if you wear a bra at all) will make all the difference in the world. Structured or tight-fitting bras can increase your chances of getting mastitis. No bueno.
Who knew? Tackle pumping like a boss.
If you're planning to pump a lot, look into a more sophisticated electric pump. But this little guy does the trick. If you're not planning to breastfeed, you might still want one to occasionally express just enough milk to relieve pressure from engorgement, till your supply dries up.
Mastitis sucks. That is all.
I'd recommend a water bottle you only have to fill up twice daily! So much easier to keep track of your water intake that way:)
Samesies but this one fits in a cup holder.
I swear by the maximum strength. I also secretly love the smell of it.
I've never bought a bad muslin swaddle blanket before. You can't really go wrong with them.
My babies always took this type of pacifier... I love them because they make the babes look like little suckerfish. It's a place to start, at the very least:)
For the babes at night. The chamomile chills 'em out a bit.
So real. So good.
